On the 26th and 27th July we attended the Worstead Festival, this year not as many members took part however we still had a good number of exhibits. Approximately 22 stationary engines were in the engine ring making a fine sight, tractors and horticultural exhibits around the edge making up the complete stand.
On both days the sun shone and suncream was the order of the day, the public who viewed the exhibits seemed to be interested and happy. We had ring parades on both days that were well received and with Dennis as commentator spectators around the ring were well entertained. We also had two extra exhibits on the stand in the form of two vintage cars, they certainly had a lot of interest.
In the church we also had a display of military items complete with uniforms, motor bikes, various items and a portable fire pump, once again the display attracted much attention.
Finally we had a small marquee with a display of bygones which we felt gave an extra dimension to the overall display.
