The 27th and 28th of July took us to Worstead Festival, this event has a real family feel to it, however for us it is perhaps a chance to relax a little bit as it is not quite so hands on, it is important for us to have the time to be social with each other at events.
Numbers for us were down this year, perhaps the weather played a part in this thunder, lightening, wind and rain challenged us all at times but come the Show days it was just about dry and people came along to enjoy the music and attractions.
I am always amazed at how talented our members are at making some stunning exhibits as props for the stationary engines to show what they can do, from making illumination, to pumping water, look at the model water tower in the gallery.
Our thanks to those who come along and help and a special thank you to the engine people who run their engines all day in most weathers.
Date for diary Club dinner 23rd November at the Wensum Valley Hotel 6.30pm for 7pm.
