Worstead Festival beckoned us on the 25th and 26th July, this event proved to be challenging, very wet and windy, it is such a shame for the organisers to see their hard work being made difficult by inclement conditions, however we got on with the job in hand and put on a display and made the best of the weather. Saturday started wet but by early afternoon the sun came out and the ground dried up. The engine ring finally got going and I think we all had a good few hours. The main ring was to wet for the tractors so we put on a horticultural display this meant several of our younger members could take part, congratulations to them for a fine display.
Sunday dawned just about dry and we hoped that we might get away with a very overcast day but it was not to be, the rain fell and once again we were wet through. The tractors did come into their own at the end of the day helping in towing people off the field!
Thanks to every body who helped and a special thanks to those who did the Club display in the Church. A fantastic effort!
