On Sunday 21st May Sir John White hosted a road run and barbecue at Salle Parkland. We were able to enjoy the beautiful setting of mature trees and woodland, the tractors were guided through this wonderful area by Sir John taking the lead on approximately a 15 mile tour around the villages of the area. Many thanks to those who helped to make another enjoyable day in the sunshine.
Our first outing for 2017 took place at the Norfolk Showground on April 4th for the Spring Fling, this event always takes place in the Easter Holidays and is a hands on educational day where children and adults alike learn lots about food and farming. Our place at this event is to allow those who wish to touch and explore our tractors and implements to safely do so. Most shows are very much look and do not touch, this is a totally different experience for everyone, we are always on hand to explain what function the exhibits would have had in the past to do with food production and farming. The weather at this event was kind and a good day was had by all. April 22nd and 23rd took some of us to Euston Park and the Game Fair, a new venue for this event. Not so many of us went this year as it took place on the same weekend of the Eastern Counties Vintage Show where some club members help.
