Aylsham Show

August Bank Holiday Monday saw the Club in its usual position near the lake at Blickling Park for the Aylsham Show. This year the weather was good after having two very wet years. Lots of people passed through our stand where club members were on hand to give any information needed about the exhibits. A good variety of Stationary Engines and equipment were present, the horticultural section still continues to grow, and a good standard of tractors and implements completed the line up. We hope that the general public has as much pleasure from our stand as we do. Tea and cakes made the day most enjoyable and it is always good to have this social side of the Club. As always thanks go to the dedicated team who make the events...

Marsham Summer Show

The Club Summer Show took place at Allison St Marsham on the 13th and 14th August. This year we had a much larger area and a new layout, a large range of exhibits took part, we welcomed The Pink Ladies stand for the first time, Annie and her team put on a good display with the decorated tractors and gave lots of information about the fund raising for Breast Cancer, several of our members take part in the annual road run in July. Once again we had Tractor Pulling this always seems to be well supported and this time we also had Mini Tractor Pulling alongside the bigger models, it was certainly different entertainment. Other areas of the show provided a full ring programme, including Gun Dog displays, Marching Jazz Band, Sheep Shearing, and Bar Stool Games, Haley had her hair shaved off her head for cancer research, well done to her. The line up for tractors produced many different and some almost unique models, these were supported by an impressive engine ring, horticultural section and static displays including cars, motorcycles, and lorries and trade stands. The working area produced some beautiful memories of times past gathering the harvest in. Saturday evening saw a road run take place followed by a Hog Roast and entertainment by Paula McKaskill. Thanks go to every one who made this event...
